Motown is a good sleeper. If I’m in bed, he’s in his bed on the floor next to me. Rarely does he get up to grab a drink, wander around, or find a better sleeping position. So the jingle of his pet tags never woke me up or bothered me in any way.

But now Motown is a year and a half old, and his joints and bones are strong enough for some running, so we’ve been doing some laps around Wrigley Field. The noise from his tags bouncing around was annoying enough (for me and probably for him too) that I picked up a Quiet Spot Pet Tag Silencer.

This is a great product. Except for some panting, I don’t hear any noise from Motown while we run. The stretchy neoprene pouch contains his three tags and could fit a couple more. And because it’s stretchy, it keeps everything in one place so they don’t jingle inside the pouch. The Quiet Spot also seems pretty sturdy. I’ve put it through the washing machine once already when I washed Motown’s collar.
