So who is Snooty? Well, we’re not sure yet. So far, we’re a company with a mediocre website. Beyond that, our mission statement is:
To make money by walking dogs.
Yeah… it’s a work in progress. A more appropriate description is that Snooty is a dog walking and pet care service based in Chicago Illinois. We love our pets, and are ready to love yours (if it gets cold enough). Individually, we are:
Brendan Ziegler
Brendan lives in Wrigleyville with Patrick and has been serving as the day-time care taker for the house pets, Clancy and Motown, frequently going on runs and walks with Motown.
This however, is only his most recent experience with pets. Brendan has owned a variety of pets over the years, including two gerbils named Gus and Jack (like from Cinderella, because one was chubby and the other was skinny), a hamster named Reese’s, a cat named Skittles, and a dog named Gudren (Brendan’s family adopted the dog for another family and tried to change it’s name, but it was too late). After a four year college-hiatus from pets Brendan is thrilled to be living in a house with critters again, and looks forward to meeting yours.
Emily Carroll
Emily is one of our pet care gurus. She is an expert, having had pets her whole life: dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, turtles…the list goes on and on (okay, it may only go on to include frog…but that is a pretty long list as it is). She was instrumental in naming most of her pets (except for Baby Spice the Hamster which was named by her brother) and will entertain you with stories of beloved pets past and present. Ask about Alfie and you may have to pull up a chair.
She bent over backwards to make her pets happy (not literally, but could probably do it if forced) and even woke up in the middle of the night to let Alfie drink water out of a Dixie cup when he was thirsty…proof that she knows how to spoil a dog. She inherited her mother’s ability to communicate with animals (see: the time Emily’s mom lured Baby Spice out of the air vent after an escape from the cage by a song made up about Baby Spice the Hamster); yet has a greater sense of perception about animals than her mother (see: the time Emily’s mom called the vet because she thought Baby Spice the Hamster was pregnant…turns out he just had giant balls).
She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Social Work and doesn’t see a difference between two or four legged clients. She will laugh at her own jokes and talk to your pet like a friend…never forgetting to ask how it’s day is going.
Patrick McDonald
Patrick is awesome, especially when he writes about himself in the third person. Snooty, Patrick's brain child, was an idea born while helping another client with their branding efforts. As a full time web developer, Patrick McDonald, sadly, isn't one of Snooty's dog walkers. Instead, his efforts are aimed toward developing the website and creating the brilliant marketing you are sure to see.
Patrick lives with too many human roommates, but evens things out with 2 pets; Motown, the most handsome Ridgeback this side of the Zambezi, and Clancy, a hand-me-down Abyssinian-Siamese mix from retired and traveling parents.
